Created by a homeschool parent with decades of teaching experience, Milestone Learning combines clear explanations, thoughtful practice, and carefully sequenced lessons to support children from their very first steps through to independent learning.

How it all began
Ten years after my second child was born, I was blessed with a third little boy. It felt like an opportunity to begin the homeschooling journey all over again with everything I’d learnt the first time around.
On my “second time round” I noticed that none of the resources I used with my older boys were really suited to homeschooling in Australia. So I began writing my own. Before long I had enough material, and plenty of encouragement from family and friends, to launch Milestone Maths.
Problem becomes opportunity
Between tutoring and writing I “fell behind” in spending quality time with my precious little one. Until one day I realised he was growing up alone and… illiterate. I carved time out of my schedule just for him and I pulled out my “go to” resource for remedial readers of all ages: Webster’s spelling book. It did the job very well. It always does. But it’s not a resource a normal homeschool mum can just “open-and-go” so I started writing a modern homeschool friendly version.
Today, Milestone Maths is growing into Milestone Learning—a home for resources across multiple subjects, all built on the same no nonsense philosophy of helping learning make sense. I hope these resources can be a blessing to you and your family.
