Description
Milestone A is our optional Prep/Kindy/Foundation Level developed in response to popular demand!
In Milestone Level A we focus on laying the foundations of number sense for the youngest of learners. Using lots of visual and tactile activities your child will explore and discover counting, reading numbers and simple relationships between numbers. They will also begin getting a feel for addition to 10.
Because little hands are not usually sufficiently developed for writing, Level A contains no writing activities. There are, however, lots of activities to develop the fine motor skills your child will need when the begin learning to write.
Activities include:
- cut and paste
- sticker play
- Sumstix play
- drawing
- colouring
The parent guide also suggests games and other enrichment activities that you can do with your child throughout the day.
Please note: You will also require a set of Sumstix. If you do not own these, then please purchase the full kit here.
